We drink raw milk but haven’t for a couple months…sometimes the milk gets a bit sour and no one wants it then. Its suppose to still be fine to drink but who wants sour milk.
Cornocupia is about the only place in town selling it now…so you have to stay on top of it and get the fresh stuff when it comes in (Tuesdays)...
We kind of gave up on it for now…its expensive and sometimes tastes bad (even though its still fine).
The FDA has snuffed out this fine food that was designed for our bodies to eat (Proverbs 27:27)...you can thank the pharmaceutical companies for this. They pay well.

You have to watch the dates as sometimes the older get rotated to the front and soemtimes they dont…best to find the freshest stuff of course.

What’s the difference between a clean and a clean pull?
Brianon July 19 2010 - 9:19 PM
Dave,
Clean pulls are an Olympic Lifting “transition skill”. The clean deadlift (1st pull) is performed. As the bar passes your knees and into your “pockets” you begin the “second pull’, using hip drive, shrug and an arm pull to elevate the bar. You do not pull yourself under the bar (third pull) or clean the bar, but return it to the ground. Basically, it’s a clean deadlift into an explosive shrug.
The clean pull is excellent for developing pulling power needed for making heavier lifts.

Chad,
A friend told me this about raw milk. Sometimes you can taste iodine, which is used to wash the teat. Other times you can “taste the cow”. Crazy. I’d still like to give it a try.

I never tasted either but my wife did tell me she could smell the goat in some goat milk I bought before…smelled like milk to me.
Fresh raw milk is delicious…go splurge and buy yourself a $8 half gallon of it.

Perfect explanation. Thank you! When are we going to start posting times again? It makes me feel apart of the group and gives something to compete against when I’m traveling. 215# 4:55

Dave,
We’ll try to do a better job of posting the times. The easiest thing to do is usually post a photo of the board at the end of the day. I’ll try to do that tonight.
