Did you know that the almonds you buy in the grocery store are pasteurized (irradiated)? If you eat almonds as part of your “healthy” diet you have probably been eating dead almost worthless almonds.
Thanks to the Gov, all almonds have to be irradiated here in California since 2007. Maybe elsewhere too, not sure on that.
Even if your almonds are “raw almonds” they are most likely irradiated.
Fortunately, Cornucopia has real almonds. Yep, unpasteurized almonds. They are almost $10 a pound though…but if you want to eat a real almond, they have them.
We use them to make almond milk…delicious!

Did not know that, but I am not surprised, then again few things could surprise me where the government has its filthy little ( i mean really big) hands involved in which as of late is getting to be more and more. It really is time to say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”

All almonds sold domestically must be pasteurized, as per FDA regulations. This is not the case with almonds shipped over seas. Any almonds coming from me are straight from our plant in Denair and are un-treated/ un-pasteurized. Louis you are right just let me know I can get 2-3 lb samples for free but anything more I have to pay for…

The almonds at Cornucopia are organic I believe.
I’m not sure how much organic matters with almonds though…haven’t researched that.
Jordan, I’d buy 10 pounds from you…just let me know how much. You can leave them at the gym as I work out in the morning. Thanks
