Great job to everyone who rocked Friday’s workout. We had 42 people take on Cindy and amidst the familiar faces were 3 new faces. The Krav Maga class also had 2 ladies hitting and kicking. Thanks for making Friday so busy and so much fun!
Matt Hartfield ended up doing the best today with 22 rounds and 14 reps. Honorable mention to David Beachler who was just 15 squats away from hitting 20 rounds in 20 minutes. Both of these gents have only been doing CrossFit for about 6-8 months now. Pretty awesome to see such great form while moving so fast!
The 4:30 class was pretty packed. It was great to see people of all levels doing the workout together. Did you guys like the NSYNC? (It was Billy’s idea!)
In other news, please remember that the only afternoon class on Monday will be WODTOBER-FEST at 6:30 PM. Wear a costume, bring a dish to share, and be prepared to WORKOUT! The friends you bring in costume will receive a free two week pass as a thank you.
November marks our fifth year anniversary and STUDENT APPRECIATION MONTH! We’ll be having prizes, fun stuff, and chances to win all month.
The finale to our 5th year anniversary will be the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on December 1st. As a way to say thank you to all of our students, we’re hosting a free lunch with more chances to win. We’ll also do an awards ceremony. Keep a lookout for more information in the coming weeks.
Saturday is PARTNER WORKOUT DAY!
4 Rounds:
1 minute on each station, one partner works for 30 seconds, while the other rests for 30 seconds.
- Hammer Swings
- Burpees
- 50 meter Sprints (1 sprint = 10 points)
- Kettlebell Swings
- Box Jumps
Only one partner can work at a time. In a 60 second time frame, one partner will work while the other is resting for 30 seconds and then they will switch. Rest assured, if you’re confused, it will be explained tomorrow! Like always
