We would like to welcome Captain Daniel Bandy to CrossFit Modesto Krav Maga for the month of October. He is on leave from the US Army and comes to us from Savannah, Georgia. Bandy is a Modesto, Beyer High native who has been in the U.S. Army for ten years.
Bandy is a helicopter pilot and has served four tours in the Middle East. The Middle East is where he first came across CrossFit. He’s been a CrossFitter for three years.
He loves CrossFit because, “It doesn’t just groom you to pass a fitness test. It’s functional. It gets you into shape and keeps you in shape.”
Bandy for the time he is here hopes to get a jumpstart on his fitness after a rotator cuff injury.
We’re excited Captain Bandy is here with us for the month of October. If you see him around, tell him hello. He ships out to Germany on November 13th.
